Noah DeGeorge began writing music before he'd even moved out of the big city of Chicago to pursue an education at Indiana Wesleyan University in the cooped-up town of Marion, Indiana. It was during the first semester of college he began recording music in his college dorm, and released his first single, "Circles" in January of 2018. His first album, Even If No One Listens, was released in March the same year.
Noah's musical inspirations come from Midwestern and southern style Alt-country artists like Corey Kilgannon, Joel Cossette, and Richard Edwards. His lyricism is based heavily on the writing style of those artists too, and even taken from some heavier alternative punk bands. He compares himself to those artists as well, including artists like Alcoa, Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties, and Julien Baker.
